STEM education teaches skills that are required in our world today. Healthcare is dependent on each one of these areas from buildings to patient care; STEM is required for our future. New product development and re-manufacturing also require these skills, and we need more re-manufacturing on today's products. That's why I'm raising funds to support the Discovery Center of Springfield. It is our nonprofit, community funded science center that turns kids playing today into adults leading tomorrow’s workforce through hands-on, experiential learning.
