I have enjoyed watching my kids get a new perspective for Discovery Center as they grow older. At young ages, it is simply the fun of playing, but as they get older they begin to realize that the play has meaning, and then finally the science and concepts begin to sink in. That's why I'm raising funds to support the Discovery Center of Springfield. It is our nonprofit, community funded science center that turns kids playing today into adults leading tomorrow’s workforce through hands-on, experiential learning.
